Andrew R. Vensel

Andrew R. Vensel is an avid teacher and performer of music. In addition to his private studio, he is currently the secondary vocal music instructor for Waynesboro Area School District, outside of Gettysburg, PA, where he teaches choir, general music, music technology, piano, and music for special learners. Featured in PSEA’s Voice Magazine for his work with students with disabilities and through his many professional presentations at PMEA and NJMEA conferences, Mr. Vensel is an expert in creating instruction in which all students have an equal opportunity to succeed and is often described as an enthusiastic, caring, and passionate instructor.

Vensel holds a MM in Voice Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College of Rider University, a BM in Music Education from West Chester University, and is currently working on a MS in Instructional Design and Technology at Bloomsburg University. As a voice teacher, Mr. Vensel is always learning and researching the best and modern teaching methods to help his students obtain optimal growth. Most recently, Mr. Vensel completed a voice science class where he was able to study anatomy related to singing in Shenandoah's University’s cadaver lab through a class at The CCM (Contemporary Commercial Music) Vocal Pedagogy Institute. In addition, he is studying pop and musical theater stylings with WICKED on Broadway’s Carla Stickler.
